About
Seed is sourced from various European nurseries, with all necessary legal documentation obtained. Almost all of our plants are grown from documented seed and carry a field number.
On the reverse of each label you will find the sowing date and the source nursery

Seed is germinated in a specially built propagator using the poly-bag method. Sowing takes place between December and April, and germinated seed may remain in these poly-bags for up to two years.

When considered large enough, seedlings are removed from their poly-bags and allowed to grow on. They are then pricked out into 30mm plug trays.
At this stage, plugs are given a colour-coded label to make identification easier across the benches.

We are registered with the Scottish Government as a Professional Operator and are authorised to issue plant passports.
